Products Sold

Q. What products are allowable at Epping Twilight Markets?

A. Epping Twilight Markets is a makers market for quality local produce and giftware. We pride ourselves on the quality of the organic foods and farmers’ produce and giftware available. Products should be designed or made by the stallholder ensuring that only the goods described and approved on the Application Form are sold, and that the goods sold are primarily made or produced by the stallholder. To ensure the high standards of the Epping Twiligh Markets, the Markets Committee decision is final.

Insurance

Q. Do I require any insurance?

A. It is the responsibility of the stallholder to have both public and product Liability Insurance to $10,000,000. A stallholder selling food must comply with any codes, ordinances, rules or legislation regulating the preparation, sale or storage of food.

Size of Stall Site

Q. What is the size of the stall site?

A. Outdoor stall sites at Epping Twilight markets are 3 m x 3 m in size. Indoor stall tables are 2m x 1m in size.

Equipment Provided

Q. What do I need to bring?

A. Site fees include the provision of a table for stalls in the hall, and for outside stalls stallholders will need to bring a marquee, tables and table covers or promotional materials as required. Electricity is supplied for food stallholders only. Stallholders must be prepared for the advent of wet weather.

New Product Offerings

Q. Can new products be sold on a stall?

A. All products sold in the markets must be prior approved by the Markets Committee. New products and offerings are welcomed, but cannot be sold without Markets Committee approval. This is to ensure the quality of the Markets is maintained to a high standard, and a balance of product mix is ensured.

Storage

Q. Is storage available?

A. On site storage is not available.

Site Access

Q. When can I set up my stall?

A. Access to the markets site will be provided to hot food stallholders between 3:30pm and 4:30pm on markets days, with gift and others stalls being allow on site once the hot food stall are unloading. One 15 minute period will be granted to the stallholder for vehicle access to the site for unloading, if required, as agreed with the Markets Committee. All stall set up must be finalised by 4:45pm.

Q.Where can I enter and exit the grounds?

A. All hot food and outdoor stallholders are to enter the grounds from the Cambridge street staff car park and to exit the grounds stall holders must exit up the lane next to the church and out on to Oxford Street.

Parking

Q. What parking arrangements are available for stallholders?

A. There is mainly parking available in the surrounding streets.

Weather

Q. What happens when it rains?

A. We are open rain, hail or shine for the Epping Twilight Markets day.

Rubbish Disposal

Q. How do I dispose of my rubbish?

A. Specifically provided and marked bins near the Cambridge Street entrance are for the stallholders to ensure their site is left clean and tidy at the conclusion of the markets.

Cancellation

Q. Can stallholders cancel a site?

A. Stallholders can cancel their attendance 1 month before the market day. If cancellation is made after this period the stallholder will forfeit their hiring fee.
